Why this exists

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce (10 August 2023) flagged that"42 ministries / departments / bodies are overseeing the implementation of various schemes and initiatives related to startups" — and that fragmentation causes "lack of coordination and delay in scheme implementation". A student in Bhopal, a first-time founder in Bengaluru, and a textile MSME owner in Surat each hit different portals, each in a different language, none of which sequences anything or saves what they learned.

We aren't trying to replace any of those portals. They are the authoritative source for application and disbursement. We're the layer in between: the one that asks four questions, matches against 155 schemes, sequences the right ones, and gives you a roadmap you can save, edit, and come back to.

What we do

• Match. Tell us your goal, stage, location, and (optionally) your cross-cutting status (women / SC-ST). We surface every scheme you're actually eligible for — and tell you the ones you'll become eligible for after specific prerequisites.
• Sequence. We don't dump a list. We order the schemes by phase (Identity → Entity → Registration → Recognition → Benefits → Funding → Compliance) so you know what to do first.
• Cite. Every claim links to the official government source. Every scheme card shows when an editor last re-verified it, and by whom.
• Save. Your roadmap is a first-class object — editable, shareable, exportable to PDF, resumable when life changes. Mark steps complete, add custom tasks, re-plan if you switch entity type.
• Charge nothing. Every government application path on NirmanKit is free. If anyone offers to apply on your behalf for a fee, they are not us. See the trust centre.

What we don't do

• We don't submit applications on your behalf. We deep-link to the official portal and let you finish the form there.
• We don't give legal, tax, or financial advice. Information on this site is provided as a wayfinder; verify with official sources before acting.
• We don't sell, share, or rent your data. See the privacy notice.
• We don't claim Government of India affiliation. We are an independent aggregator.

How we work

• Every scheme is re-verified at least every 90 days, by a named editor, against the official government source.
• Your data lives in India. Everything personal is hosted in Mumbai — see our data-residency posture.
