Free, non-charging — visibly.
Every government application path on NirmanKit is free. We will never ask you for payment for any government service. If anyone offers to apply on your behalf for a fee, they are not us.
Not the Government of India.
We are an independent aggregator. We complement official portals — we don't replace them. Every scheme cites its official source, and the application happens on the government's own website.
Your data stays in India.
Application data, profiles, audit logs, and backups all live in Mumbai. Identity, jobs, observability — all India-region. We document every cross-border data flow we have (today: AI features only, opt-in).
We will never sell or share your data.
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to third-party 'partners'. Period. Your profile is used only to generate and update your roadmap. You can export or delete it at any time.
One-click data rights.
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you have rights to access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal. We implement these as live flows — not buried policy text. Email export, in-app delete, 30-day cooling-off.
Every claim cites its source.
Every scheme card shows when an editor last re-verified it, and against which government URL. Our eligibility rules are open-source under ODbL — anyone can audit them.
If we get something wrong, we fix it in 7 days.
Tell us via the contact page and we triage within one business day. Fixes ship within 7 calendar days. That's a commitment, not a hope.
How we keep these promises
- India-region hosting — the application database, identity service, job orchestration, backups, and observability all live in Mumbai. See the data-residency posture in our methodology.
- Tamper-evident audit log — every meaningful action is recorded into an append-only, hash-chained log that we mirror to immutable storage. Insiders can't silently rewrite history.
- Open eligibility rules — every rule that decides "are you eligible?" is openly licensed under ODbL and shown on the scheme page it applies to. See the methodology and how we decide which schemes you are eligible for.
