How to apply
Apply at Local DISCOM Office
Submit a connection request form along with land ownership proof to PGVCL/UGVCL/MGVCL/DGVCL.

Site Feasibility Check
DISCOM field engineers visit the location to check the feasibility of feeder separation line extension.

Meter Installation & Power Release
Pay the deposit, and DISCOM installs meters and releases the three-phase connection.

Jyotigram Yojana is a major initiative by the Government of Gujarat to ensure continuous, high-quality power supply to rural areas. By separating agricultural power feeders from domestic and commercial feeders, the scheme provides 24-hour three-phase domestic power to rural households and a dedicated, subsidized 8-hour power supply to agricultural tubewells. This reform has drastically improved the quality of rural life, supported non-farm economic enterprises, and optimized groundwater resource usage.
