The Khelo India Winter Games (KIWG) is a multidisciplinary grassroot winter sports event organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It was launched to cultivate a winter sports culture in Himalayan regions like Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Uttarakhand.
The scheme targets young athletes across multiple disciplines including alpine skiing, nordic skiing, ice hockey, figure skating, and speed skating.
