How to apply
Identify target manufacturing sector
Identify one of the 25 focused sectors and review sector-specific guidelines and incentives.
Submit investment proposal
Submit the business plan or investment proposal on the Make in India portal or National Single Window System.
Obtain approvals and start operations
Acquire necessary regulatory approvals, clearances, and credit guarantees to set up the manufacturing unit.

Additional Details
Make in India was launched by the Government of India in 2014 to encourage national and multinational companies to manufacture their products in India. The initiative targets 25 sectors of the economy, relaxes FDI regulations, improves ease of doing business, and supports state-of-the-art industrial corridors and infrastructure.
