Additional Details
Mission Indradhanush is a flagship health initiative launched by the Government of India under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The mission aims to ensure full immunisation for children up to two years of age and pregnant women who have been left uncovered under routine immunisation programmes. It provides comprehensive vaccination against critical vaccine-preventable diseases, including Diphtheria, Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Polio, Tuberculosis, Measles, and Hepatitis B. Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) campaigns target high-focus districts and hard-to-reach tribal areas to boost coverage and eliminate preventable child mortality.
