National Career Service (NCS) is a major national digital initiative under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. It was launched to transform the legacy network of employment exchanges into modern, IT-enabled Model Career Centres to provide a comprehensive suite of career-related services to youth and employers.
The NCS portal functions as a centralized marketplace linking job seekers, employers, training providers, placement agencies, and career counselors. It provides access to thousands of active job vacancies, free skill development courses, vocational guidance, local services (tutors, plumbers, electricians), and job fairs across various sectors.
Employers and micro-enterprises can register for free to post job openings, search resume databases, and participate in offline/online job melas organized nationwide.
