How to apply
Diagnosis at Government Health Facility
Visit a government Designated Microscopy Center (DMC) or healthcare facility for sputum test or rapid molecular test.

Nikshay Portal Registration
Once diagnosed, the medical officer registers the patient on the centralized Nikshay portal.

Nikshay Poshan Yojana DBT Enrollment
Submit bank details and Aadhaar to the health worker to activate the monthly nutritional support of ₹500.

Additional Details
The National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), earlier known as the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP), is the public health initiative of the Government of India that organizes national anti-Tuberculosis efforts. Operating under the National Health Mission (NHM), it provides free of cost quality diagnostic services, daily drug regimens, and treatment monitoring. It also includes the Nikshay Poshan Yojana, providing direct cash benefits to registered patients to support their nutritional needs during treatment.
