Fill the simplified PMJDY account opening form, attach Aadhaar card and photos, and submit to the bank.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is India's flagship financial inclusion program launched by the Government of India. It aims to provide affordable access to essential financial services, including savings and deposit bank accounts, remittances, credit, insurance, and pension schemes.
Under the scheme, any Indian citizen (including minors aged 10 and above) can open a Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) account with zero minimum balance requirement. Accounts are opened with public sector banks, private sector banks, and regional rural banks.
