How to apply
Agri-business Pitch Submission
Agri-startups or farmer groups submit their project proposals or business pitches to an empanelled RKVY-RAFTAAR Agri-Business Incubator (R-ABI).

Incubation & Training
Selected entrepreneurs undergo a compulsory 2-month residency incubation and training program to refine their business model.

Grant Sanction & Disbursal
The Ministry reviews incubator recommendations and sanctions seed grants (up to ₹25 Lakh) disbursed in milestones-linked installments.

Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana - Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sectors Rejuvenation (RKVY-RAFTAAR) is a flagship central sponsored scheme launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. The primary objective is to make farming a remunerative economic activity by strengthening the farmers' effort, risk mitigation, and promoting agri-business entrepreneurship. The scheme provides financial assistance to states to develop pre- and post-harvest infrastructure, promote value addition, and support youth in agri-entrepreneurship through specialized incubators (R-ABIs) with seed funding (up to ₹25 Lakh). RKVY-RAFTAAR covers crop husbandry, horticulture, animal husbandry, dairying, fisheries, and sericulture, allowing states complete flexibility in planning localized development.
